Elvedes is known for bringing its solution-focused products to market. Thinking in solutions is in our blood and that means that from time to time we come up against the fact that our own bikes incur ugly damage during transportation on bike carriers. We found that there was no solution available for this in the bike product market. We know that the creative consumer is thrifty when it comes to their expensive bikes, uses old cloths, insulation material, etc. to prevent damage. Elvedes saw the opportunity to come up with a professional solution for this, so that the sight of those old cloths flapping about on the motorway became a thing of the past. After having tested a number of bike carriers with a number of different bike combinations, we established that we’d need to come up with a solution for protecting bikes properly during transportation.
